Advanced Search

Enter terms to search titles, keywords, abstracts, and full-texts. Use double quotes to create search phrases. Separate terms and phrases are combined with OR, but higher rank will be given to articles that contain more search terms.

EXAMPLE: the search "hawking radiation" gravity will find articles containing either the phrase "hawking radiation", or term gravity. It will give higher rank to articles containing both hawking radiation and gravity.

Enter author surnames. Use double quotes for multi-word surnames.

Only surnames and author collaborations/groups are searchable, not first names.

EXAMPLES: Weir Clark will limit search to articles with either Weir OR Clark as author surnames. It will rank articles with both author surnames Clark and Weir the highest.

The search "Baron Cohen" will search for author surname Baron Cohen as a single phrase, and will ignore individual surnames Baron and Cohen.

Limit the year range.

Limit search to certain journal or publication names. This is not case sensitive.

EXAMPLE: Nature plos will search within publications that contain either nature OR plos in their title.
